Something for Everyone

Check out the fantastic family workshops offered this year which are designated by (CONNECTIONS) in the workshop description section.

New for 2008

• FRIDAY NIGHT - FAMILY PAJAMA PARTY Put on your warm pajamas and fuzzy slippers. Join other families and enjoy games for all ages. Bring your favorite cuddly toy and participate in the Stuffed Animal Parade. Relax with some great bedtime stories.
• YOUTH PROJECT SHOWCASE Display your handiwork and share your unique talents! Science projects, photography, posters, collections, or art. Please label all items. Do not bring expensive, fragile, or irreplaceable things. WPA is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
• COMMON SPACE Network, meet other homeschoolers, make new friends, and even enjoy your homemade lunch in the CONNECTIONS lounge area. Bring your favorite games and relax with your kids and other families.
• PLAY SPACE Sensory tables and play dough will be a big hit with your small children.
• DISPLAY AREA Learn about homeschooling support groups from throughout the state. Discover "The Many Paths of Homeschooling Alumni." Appreciate the creative efforts of children who completed projects during the conference.
• VOLUNTEER The success of CONNECTIONS depends on the energy of many. Get involved by contacting a coordinator.
• CHILDREN ALWAYS WELCOME Please accompany your child for all activities and workshops.

Some CONNECTIONS workshops are very popular and will close. Register early. Check the WPA Voice Mail (608-283-3131) for closings before registering for a workshop with limits. (However, checking does not guarantee you a place.) Make second choices from the long list of exciting workshops. Be flexible!
