Used Books and Learning Materials

Follow instructions carefully. Questions:

Buyers: Cash and personal checks will be accepted for payment. Conference name tags are required for admission to the sale. Sale for homeschooling families only, not for commercial resale businesses.

Sellers:

• Make one 3x5 card for every item for sale. In upper left corner, print your name, last name first. In upper right corner, print title (or name of item) and name of category (not number). Use only the following categories:
  • Grade levels K-8, High School (There is a separate category for each grade level. Write "Grade 1", etc.);
  • General science and math
  • History/Social Studies
  • Literature
  • Foreign Language
  • Music
  • Art
  • Bible/Inspirational
  • Curriculum
  • Computer/Video/Audio
  • Parent Resources
  • Reference Materials
  • Multi-grade Subjects
  • Games
  • Story Books
  • Miscellaneous
  • Free

  Sets: place in zip lock bags or similar reclosable containers. No rubber bands or string. Write the number of pieces on the 3x5 card in each piece, identifying it as part of the set.

  In the center of each card, print the price when new (if known) and your asking price. Make prices reasonable, half price or less for most. Please, only bring items directly related to education.

• Tape card SECURELY on inside front cover of books or upper left corner of other items. If cards fall off, neither sale personnel nor WPA will be responsible for unpaid items.
• Place a typed or written list of items being sold with asking price, organized by category with your items. Include your name, address, and phone number.
• Sellers will be mailed a check for items sold within three weeks. (A 10% fee will be deducted from sales to help cover costs.) By April 24th, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Linda Velier, W2640 Miley Road, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085-2955, 920-467-2620. Or consider telling Linda Velier to donate to WPA the money from the sale of your items.
• Drop off items and your list on Friday, 6-8 pm. Ask at the main registration desk in Gruenhagen Conference Center where to take them.

Sale will be from 8 to 2 Saturday only. Due to space limitations, do not bring strollers into the sale. Unsold books may be picked up after 3:30 PM. Any remaining after 5:00 PM will be surrendered, unless prior arrangements have been made. Note: Neither sale personnel nor WPA is responsible for any items that are lost, stolen, or improperly marked. All sales are final. There are no returns.
